The typical lacrosse season begins with player registration in September and October, followed by team formation and practices in November and December. Practices are conducted at Tustin parks in and around Tustin Ranch on weekday evenings. Our regular season opens with a lacrosse "festival," comprising several short games for each teams so that coaches can evaluate players in a game setting and the league's new referees and officials can get some game time under their belt. The season itself runs on weekends from January through March, followed by playoffs, and many teams elect to play in the abbreviated spring season in April and May.
In 2009, PLC fielded three boys teams and two girls teams. Two of the boys teams were composed of 7th and 8th grade players, split into a more expereinced squad and a less experienced squad, while the third team was composed of 5th and 6th grade players. The girls teams were composed of 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade players who were divided into two squads. Some players were able to play on more than one team due to league rules and the necessity to accomodate family schedules and the need for specialty position players.
This season, we expect to field an equal number of boys and girls teams and the season will likely run very much as it did in 2009.

We will update this page to reflect our teams, players, and coaching staff after the teams have been formed.
